Testimonials

In the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to consult with Brenda Davie when my mother was diagnosed with cognitive impairment and severe addiction issues.  Over several sessions, she offered me excellent advice and tips on dealing with the fear, frustration and anxiety that my mom was experiencing ~ and calmly answered all my questions.  She offered advice on available programs and associations which proved helpful to our whole family. Brenda is patient, knowledgeable and so easy to talk with.  I am grateful to have received support from such an experienced family caregiver and would highly recommend her to anyone.

I met with Brenda when my dad was first diagnosed with vascular dementia. She was able to coach me on how to communicate with my Dad, this led me to having a better relationship with him. During our talks, I learned the importance of self-care and having a life of my own. Brenda was a godsend when my dad was admitted to the hospital, she guided me in standing up for myself when I felt unheard by the hospital discharge team. I was very grateful for all her help.
